A Queensland photo retailer is offering a free digital photo-to-CD service for those affected by the floods.

Fotofast and HP will provide the service to help catalogue items and property that have been damaged by the floods, particularly for insurance purposes. To take advantage of the offer, bring your memory card or 35mm film to Fotofast in Brisbane where they will transfer the images on to two CDs and provide you with an index booklet.

There’s also a range of tips for recovering prints that have been damaged by the floods, and you might like to take a look at our guide on recovering lost images from a memory card.
